We get these questions quite a lot so we figured a FAQ page was only necessary.

1. Where can I get bongs/pieces online?

You should always try and support your local headshop. But, for whatever reason, if you can’t here are a few good sites. Etsy, it’s a great website that supports the glassblowers themselves. Aqualabtechnologies, a great place for great heady glass… all a bit overpriced but it’s what you sacrifice for shopping online. And lastly, grasscity. A decent shop with a decent selection.

2. Have you ever tried [another drug besides marijuana]?

This is a site about marijuana and marijuana only. Our opinions on any other drugs will not be posted on thingsstonerslike.com. Ever.

4. Is [any amount of money] a good price for [a certain amount of weed]?

Pricing for weed depends varying upon location, therefore us giving you our opinion on pricing for weed would be irrelevant. 

5. I have a drug test coming up. How can I be sure I’m going to pass?

THC bonds to the fat cells in your body, therefore consistent exercise will help keep your THC levels low. Furthermore, a high intake of water will help lower your THC levels. If you have a gym with a sauna, take a gallon of water and go sweat it out. Lastly, there is a purple bottled drink at GNC called Aqai Natural Cleansing. It’s nasty and rancid, but it helps clean out your body and your blood stream.

6. Where do I submit?

TSL does not take submissions. However, we are accepting submissions over at FYSC and FYSD! If you have a flickr, you can always submit a picture to our flickr group as well. If your adamant on submitting to TSL, you can email Ryan at cloudrhinos@gmail.com, too.

7. Tips on growing?

Head on over to grasscity.com. Their forums are full of great grow journals, both indoor and out. And while I have never grown personally, I love keeping up on peoples grows and seeing what the experienced cultivators have to say about others.

Everyone is always helping out everyone over there.

8. How can you tell the difference between indica and sativa buds?

Sativa is that very uplifting, inspirational high that puts you in a crazy good mood. While indica is the complete contrary, putting you in that very mellow, chill mode. Indica dominant strains are great for medicinal use as it helps with several ailments that include nausea, body aches and pains, and overall a great assistant to helping you get some of the best sleep you’ve ever had.

But with more and more hybrids being birthed, finding a pure indica/sativa anymore is tough work. As there is no scientific way to determine the true strain dominancy, cannabis consumers tend to make educated guesses based off their experience of the high.

9. Why have I not seen my submission on FYSC/FYSD?

We get quite a bit of submissions and we always keep our queue very full. Please be patient about seeing your submission. If it’s been a while, then you most likely missed when it was posted because the FYSC queue posts 35-50 pictures a DAY, so you might have just missed it. Do not submit your picture again. If you can’t find it and you’ve looked tediously, contact Olivia personally and talk to her.
